Empowering the next generation of climate leaders   

Achieving the targets of the Paris Agreement rests on a global collaborative effort – an effort that must include a broad range of ideas and initiatives. That's why we've launched our Youth Panel — a forum connecting today’s decision-makers with the climate leaders of tomorrow.

We want to create a space to evaluate the work we do today and bring in a diversity of perspectives to challenge and sharpen our approach to building a world that runs entirely on green energy. 

The Ørsted Youth Panel will offer a platform to bring practical advice and concrete recommendations to our sustainability agenda directly to our CEO and senior management.  We envision this to be a forum that amplifies the voices of young changemakers and serves as a room for discussing their perspectives on how to deliver a rapid and just green energy transformation.   

Through an open application process, we’ve selected eight individuals between the ages of 19 – 25 from around the world. The mandate of the first Youth Panel cohort will last until the end of 2024.
